It’s not just Po who’s trying to bring new customers to Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop. Mantis plays a starring roll in the latest Super Bowl ad teaser from website builder Wix.com! The smallest character in Kung Fu Panda 3, he is hitting the pavement to try and promote the best restaurant in Kung Fu-fighting land.
In what is Wix’s fourth Super Bowl teaser, Mantis stands in the middle of a busy square and does tricks while holding a sign for the noodle shop. While he’s shouting desperately for people to look at his sign, no one seems to be taking much notice. As in Wix’s previous teasers, Master Shifu enters the scene to deliver some wise words of advice:
If you want to drive traffic to your business - start by building a website! Or as Wix would say: #StartStunning
The teaser ends on a funny note and while we’re slightly worried about how Mantis is holding up after this latest mishap, we are confident he’ll be healed in time for the January 29th release of Kung Fu Panda 3.

The voice behind Kung Fu Panda’s Mantis is none other than Seth Rogen. But wait a minute - isn’t Seth also starring in Bud Light’s 2016 Super Bowl commercial? You bet ya! Apparently the comedian just can’t get enough of this year’s Big Game!
The Sophomore Wix Super Bowl Campaign
This is the second year in a row that Wix is advertising during the Big Game. The do-it-yourself website building platform teamed up with DreamWorks Animation to help them create their 30-second ad this year. In addition to promoting Wix websites as stunning - and a perfect solution for every small business - the ad simultaneously builds hype for the upcoming release of Kung Fu Panda 3 on January 29th.
Last year, Wix ran a very strong social media campaign in support of their Super Bowl XLIX ad and this year they are again off to a strong start. They have released four hilarious teasers that send a clear message about their product. Plus, they created a new Super Bowl ad hub where Wix, Kung Fu Panda and Super Bowl fans can win prizes, watch videos and take a Career Quiz to determine the best path for their future.
