Teaser Alert! Bud Light Promises Old School Fun With This Year’s UpForWhatever Campaign
Most of you remember Bud Light‘s brilliant Super Bowl commercial last year, featuring Ian Rappaport. The unsuspecting young guy proved he was truly #UpForWhatever and we watched as he was taken out for the night of his life. With Reggie Watts mixing up the soundtrack and Don Cheadle walking a llama, we had almost as much fun watching as Ian did living it!
Bud Light is keeping the party going this year!
They released the first teaser of their 2015 Super Bowl Commercial.
The ad is called “Coin” and from this teaser (which doesn’t reveal much), we know we can expect some “old school fun”
Yesterday, the beer company released a little Tweet of their life-size PacMan maze!

We are still not sure why the ad is called “Coin.” The only clue is this enigmatic image from Bud Light’s Twitter account:

In addition to the commercial itself, Bud Light is planning on setting up a giant “House of Whatever” in Glendale, AZ to host parties and events during Super Bowl XLIX weekend. They are also setting up several social media command centers where they will generate hype for their Super Bowl ad.
Will this year’s return of the #UpForWhatever theme again be a smashing success? Or will the concept fail to live up to the very high bar that Bud Light set for themselves in 2014?
We’re UpForWhatever - but we hope it’s awesome!
