And, alas, they won’t be putting the spotlight on their Chrysler Pacifica Minivan
Hold on tight, folks, it looks like we’re in for one heck of a ride with this Super BIG news! (Because it’s always a big deal when a last minute advertiser pops up!)
If you’re still looking for the perfect ride to Levi’s Stadium this Sunday, then you might want to check out your local Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) dealership. The auto company has just announced that it’s returning to the Super Bowl for the 7th consecutive year, with two ad spots in place.

While we still don’t have information as to how long their ad spots are or which agency is behind the creative, we do know that one of the FCA 2016 Super Bowl commercials will air just after Coldplay and Beyonce’s Halftime Show, before the kickoff in the third quarter. The second ad will run sometime during the fourth quarter.
FCA has not disclosed any information about which vehicles it will air in their commercials. However, they did make it very clear that their Chrysler Pacifica Minivan model will not be given the limelight.
According to the Detroit Free Press, “the Pacifica will be the biggest launch product for the automaker this year, but will not go on sale until April.” Furthermore, FCA’s CMO, Olivier Francois, made a statement saying that although the car model is their biggest launch yet, giving it a spot in the Super Bowl would be a waste of opportunities without actually having the “product on the market.”
