Previous Wendy’s Campaigns

Though Wendy’s hasn’t previously advertised at the Super Bowl, the brand is certainly one for coming up with catchy tag lines.

Over 30 years ago, Wendy created it’s iconic “where’s the beef” slogan that would drive a meat-craving frenzy throughout America. The ad, originally titled “Fluffy Bun,” was created by top-tier agency Dancer Fitzgerald Sample, who also worked on Toyota’s 1984 “Oh, What A Feeling campaign.”

For Super Bowl LI, Wendy’s is slated to carry one of its other long-term messages that it uses “fresh, never frozen” beef.
