Now you can get a mortgage with the push of a button. At least that’s what Quicken Loans is telling consumers nationwide in their Super Bowl commercial about their online service, Rocket Mortgage.
Quicken made their Super Bowl debut this year with a 60-second ad spot that will air during the first half of the Big Game. The smart, straightforward ad clearly explains the benefits of Quicken’s Rocket Mortgage product. Why deal with the hassle of you can “Push Button. Get Mortgage.” But Quicken goes beyond that, promising that the ease of online mortgages can spur growth (and excessive consumerism) throughout the American economy.

President and CMO Jay Farner stated that the Quicken Loans 2016 Super Bowl commercial was made with the aim to “help Americans reach their home ownership goals, and in turn impact the entire economy.” Quicken Loans believes that their product can boost the economy by making it easier for consumers to purchase homes. And if “more people buy homes, they will need things to fill those homes,” eventually leading to the need of employing “more craftsmen” who will eventually be able “to buy houses themselves.” This, in fact, the logic that their commercial touches upon.

Since a Super Bowl ad wasn’t enough….
In honor of their debut Game Day ad, Quicken Loans is also running a sweepstakes called “Push Button, Get Stuff.” They’re giving away lots of stuff, including hundreds of items that are featured in or inspired by their Super Bowl ad. They’re also offering one lucky contestant $100,000 towards their mortgage! We’re totally going to hop on that.
