Craving KFC’s Nashville Hot Chicken? Find It At The Super Bowl

Rumor has it that the crispy, tasty and finger-lickin’ KFC Nashville chicken may grab an ad spot in Super Bowl 50….at least YouTube thinks so.

And it’s made us hungry to know more!

If Chipotle’s recent super-sized catering sale for Super Bowl 50 wasn’t enough to get your mouth watering for the Big Game, then maybe this AdBlitz from YouTube will get you running to your nearest KFC chain for a tasty meal of Nashville hot chicken!

According to the YouTube AdBlitz Super Bowl ad channel that was recently launched by Google, word on the street has it that KFC will be buying previous ad time during CBS’s broadcast of the 50th Super Bowl on February 7, 2016.

Adding to the rumor mill, KFC released two Super Bowl teasers on the YouTube channel. Both clips feature Colonel Sanders and put the spotlight on KFC’s Nashville hot chicken recipe which he claims is “finger lickin’ good.” (All this talk of crispy deliciousness and they’ve sure got us wanting to try it out for ourselves…)

Here’s a look at the first KFC teaser, called “Map”

Despite the hype, nothing is confirmed. We can’t be sure that KFC is really joining the other 2016 Super Bowl advertisers, most of whom have already released teasers, press releases, Tweets and more to generate a buzz in advance of Game Day.

But…if YouTube thinks so, then there’s got to be some truth to it, right? Either way, if you want to sneak a taste of those juicy Nashville wings before the game, you’re in luck! As of January 8th, the KFC chain officially added the meal to their menu in restaurants nation-wide.
