Stop right there! Quicken Loans just made getting a mortgage a whole lot easier…
What’s more, they think they’ve figured out how to save the economy, too!
The first-ever Quicken Loans 2016 Super Bowl commercial will be 60-seconds long and will be all about encouraging Americans to apply for a mortgage online through their Rocket Mortgage service, without ever stepping foot into a bank. That means that even in your post-Super Bowl hangover fog, you can take the first step towards buying your very own home.
Big Game Teaser? We’ll take it…
The Quicken Loans commercial will air during the first half of the Big Game. To get us excited for their Game Day debut, the company released a teaser ad to introduce the service to consumers. In it, we learn that Rocket Mortgage just might be the key to boosting America’s economy!
Rocket Mortgage’s teaser is called “What We Were Thinking:”
What’s it all about?
The Quicken Loans debut Super Bowl ad is meant to introduce their Rocket Mortgage online service to consumers nationwide as part of the company’s “Push Button, Get Mortgage” campaign that was launched in December, 2015. Quicken hired ad agency Fallon to help them with the ad.
According to AdWeek, the commercial will “describe a kind of snowball effect” where “more people get Rocket Mortgage home loans” which leads them to needing to “fill those homes with stuff,” and ultimately “boosting sales and improving the finances of the stuff makers” who, because of that effect, also “get their own home loans through Quicken.” (Sure sounds like these guys had it all planned out…although we do wonder how much of an impact their debut commercial will make on Game Day viewers, and the nation’s economy…)
A patriotic Game Day sweepstakes!
President and CMO of Quicken Loans, Jay Farner, says that it’s always been the company’s “mission to help Americans buy the home of their dreams utilizing the easiest mortgage possible,” and they’ve decided to spread the word by taking to the biggest advertising stage in the world.
But that’s not all! If the Super Bowl ad itself wasn’t enough of a marketing gimmick to create a buzz, the folks at Quicken Loans have also launched a sweepstakes called “Push Button, Get Stuff.” They’re giving people the chance to win some pretty neat American-made stuff inspired by and from the commercial! (Slick move, Quicken Loans…way to play on the Patriotism card!) Maybe we can win a WeatherTech carmat? The company is also giving one person the chance to win $100,000 “toward a new home purchase or paying down their current mortgage.”
