Hyundai Profile

Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the Hyundai Motor Company is a multinational auto manufacturer that started back in 1967. Together with it’s part-subsidiary and fellow Super Bowl LI advertiser, Kia, it makes up the 4th largest automaker on the planet, known as the Hyundai Motor Group.

Hyundai and the NFL

In June of 2015, Hyundai announced a four-year deal as official sponsors of the NFL. They have become the League’s official car, SUV and luxury vehicle and the Super Bowl MVP will get to drive home in a new Hyundai.

How many cars do these guys cell?

As of 2012, the Hyundai sold 7.12 million vehicles in 193 countries around the world. In the U.S. alone, their cars are available in 830 dealerships and the company employees 43,000 people.

Hyundai is releasing “THIS”- their brand new 2017 Elantra in January, so there’s a good chance the Super Bowl ad will feature “this” new model.
