World of Tanks was launched in 2014 and 2015 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game introduced console gamers to its epic tank-to-tank battles, and later became available to Sony PlayStation®4 gamers in 2016, as well as on PC.
The game was created by Wargaming, an award-winning online game developer and publisher that has shipped more than 15 titles since its founding in 1998. The company is known for World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and World of Warships among other titles.
