Previous SoFi Campaigns

SoFi joined Super Bowl 50 with a Rookie 30-second ad. Seeking to shake up the entire financial foundation of the country, they had one very Super Bowl-sized campaign tagline for fans: “Don’t Bank. SoFi.”

Their Super Bowl 50 commercial focused on promoting the fact that SoFi offers “great loans for great people.” (In other words, lame people need not apply…)

A Big Lender in a Big Game

The six-year-old financial startup company joined the Super Bowl ad frenzy to promote awareness of their lending services. Joanne Bradford, Chief Operating Officer at SoFi, said that the SoFi Super Bowl 2016 commercial was meant to take on “advertising’s biggest stage” to tell the world “what the brand stands for.”

What began as a company that solely provided an alternative to traditional student loans, SoFi has now “evolved to offer personal loans and mortgages” to consumers. As promised, the SoFi’s Super Bowl 50 ad promoted the tagline, “Great loans for great people,” and emphasized that “there’s something special about qualifying for a SoFi loan.”

What else did SoFi do for Super Bowl 50?

In honor of the 50th Super Bowl, SoFi launched a series of seven ads designed to help consumers imagine “a bank-less world.” Maybe they should team up with fellow Super Bowl 2016 advertisers, PayPal who used their own ad to “introduce the world to PayPal’s vision for the future of money.”
