Previous Michelob Ultra Campaigns

In Super Bowl 50, the Anheuser-Busch-owned beer brand used their Super Bowl spot to send an ultra-superior message for its consumers: You can stay fit and stay light, but still enjoy a good beer!

But their beer is not for just anyone. Michelob Ultra, they said, is intended for “those who go the extra mile.”

Michelob’s debut appearance was in Super Bowl XL and featured a group of young athletes enjoying a rugged game of football. The Michelob Ultra Super Bowl 2006 ad was used to introduce their “Amber” beer with this rough and tough ad:

The brand’s last appearance on the big screens was in 2010 and featured Lance Armstrong enjoying a Michelob after an intense day of training. The ad was meant to promote the brand’s “Superior Light Beer” tagline, targeting a young, athletic consumer.
