No American sporting event would be complete without the quintessential American hamburger fast food chain, McDonald’s.
Does that sound like a mouthful? A mouthful of french fries?
The two golden arches symbolize much more than just a double quarter pounder with an extra side of bacon, large fries and a large diet coke. They symbolize the world’s largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants. Did you know that McDonald’s serves around 68 million customers daily across 119 countries? More than 80% of the McDonald’s restaurants are owned by local business men and women.
McDonald’s is also actively involved in charity activities. The Ronald McDonald house is a non profit organization which offers housing for children who need to stay close to a hospital. There are currently 350 Ronald McDonald Houses.
In honor of Super Bowl LI, McDonald’s is putting the spotlight on their Big Mac. (Spoiler alert: It now comes in 3 sizes!)
