More Than Just Ketchup? Heinz Returns To The Super Bowl

Heinz 2016 Super Bowl Commercial

Catch-up with Heinz and #MeetTheKetchups - in this year’s Heinz Super Bowl commercial!

It’ll be sure to get you craving a big bowl of french fries smothered in that delicious tomato seasoning…

Looks like our all-time favorite ketchup maker Heinz has decided to join the big shots at Levi’s Stadium with a 30-second Super Bowl 50 ad — and boy do they have a message for us. The ketchup maker has announced their participation in the Big Game with a #MeetTheKetchups campaign teaser! The goal? To remind the world that Heinz is about more than just ketchup!

This world-famous tomato condiment is making a comeback after sitting on the sidelines since Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. We’ve been curious what they’re cooking up especially since, the truth is, we’ve been humming “If You’re Happy and You Know It” since their last appearance…

What is Heinz Cooking Up?

Though we don’t have much of an insight into its exact creative details, we do know that the Super Bowl 2016 Heinz ad will “…introduce the world to the rest of the great tasting family” in a 30-second commercial and is set to feature the brand’s “other products besides its iconic ketchup product,” in their campaign. To help them create an unforgettable ad, Heinz has teamed up with ad agency DAVID Miami for their Super Bowl 50 commercial.

Heinz’s Super Bowl 2016 announcement came with a teaser pic of Ketchup bottles with legs, representing the entire family they’re so keen to have us meet.

Much to our surprise, we’ve learned that the world famous company sells a wide range of products, including pimento sauce, baked beans, ketchup blended with Sriracha flavor and even mustard! Now that’s enough to make anyone drool - or curious at the very least!

Heinz has left it to the creative team at ad agency Cramer-Krasselt to design the ketchup brand’s 30-seconds of fame. Watch out for it during the CBS broadcast of the 2016 Super Bowl on February 7, 2016.

Bottom line: if you’re ever craving a delicious tomato seasoning to go along with your Game Day meal, Heinz is definitely the way to go. But if you’re looking for other Super Bowl dishes to serve at this year’s party, get some inspiration about what Super Bowl Food to serve!
