Verizon’s emotional 60-second Super Bowl LII spot titled, “Answering the Call,” paid tribute to our nation’s first responders. Why first responders? For one, natural disasters cost America more than $306 billion in 2017. And secondly, during recovery efforts, two-thirds of first responders use the telecom provider to communicate while on the job said Diego Scotti, CMO at Verizon.
The heartwarming advert included newspaper headlines and still images of impressive rescue efforts with voice overs of people saying thanks to their heroes.
