No strangers to the Super Bowl ad game, Toyota was back for their fifth round in the Big Game this year. They aired two Super Bowl commercials and, for the first time since 2005, the ads were all about putting the spotlight on the Prius.
Toyota’s Super Bowl commercials marked the launch of the brand’s new “Comedy of Errors” campaign. The campaign is designed to promote the all-new 2016 Prius hybrid which was introduced to consumers in November 2015 and has sold 3.5 million cars to date. In their ads, Toyota took viewers on two wild rides to show off the features and capability of the new Prius.
