I guess the NFL, Pepsi and CBS were paying attention.
Following a less than enthusiastic response to their announcement that Coldplay would be headlining the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, they decided to bring in a real crowd-pleaser. (You heard it here first…) Yesterday, the global super star confirmed that she would indeed be showing up on stage in San Francisco on February 7th.

What can we expect from Beyonce’s Super Bowl Performance?
The last time Beyonce performed in the Super Bowl was in 2013, but that year, she was the headliner. This year, she’ll be a bit more in the limelight (is that possible?) as she shares the stage with Chris Martin and crew. We’re pretty much guaranteed that she’ll join Coldplay for a hyped-up version of their collaboration, “Hymn for the Weekend.”
Who else will be on stage?
Bruno Mars has confirmed that he, too, will be playing in his second Super Bowl halftime show. Meanwhile, we’re watching our Twitter feed with bated breath as we wait to find out who the next surprise guest will be!
