Admittedly, we’re Super Bowl commercial addicts. No sooner has one year’s Super Bowl come to a close and we’ve got our minds on next year’s ad season. Luckily, in recent years, we haven’t had to wait until Super Bowl Sunday to see the ads. Brands are increasingly taking advantage of social media, releasing teasers, competitions and previews of their Big Game commercials in the weeks and months before the Super Bowl. And each year, it seems, the ads get better! Funnier, more creative, sexier and more surprising!
But even as we’re still watching all the 2017 Super Bowl commercials again and again, our minds are already on Super Bowl LII, wondering which brands will do it best.
Here’s a look at the 2018 Super Bowl commercials that we can’t wait to see!
A leading website building platform, Wix.com has aired three consecutive Super Bowl commercials – and they’ve all been fantastic. Each of their unique campaigns has taken a different approach, but they’ve all been exceptionally fun to watch! The Wix rookie Super Bowl commercial, in 2015, starred 5 NFL legends including Brett Favre and Terrell Owens and last year’s Wix ad was a Kung Fu Panda Super Bowl ad spoof, but the Super Bowl LI campaign really blew things out of the water! It was, in our judgement, the best Super Bowl LI commercial which is why we really can’t wait to see what’s in store for the 2018 Wix Super Bowl ad!
Take a look at the Wix 2017 Super Bowl ad:
Honestly, we weren’t that impressed with this year’s Snickers Super Bowl ad. (It was shot live during the Big Game and starred Adam Driver, of Star Wars fame.) But if Snickers missed the mark in 2017, we’re that much more excited to see what they come up with next year. Super Bowl LI aside, their ads have usually been fantastic and we have a sneaking suspicion that they’re going to come back next with something truly spectacular!
If you missed it, here’s the Snickers 2017 Super Bowl commercial:
And here’s Snickers Super Bowl 50 ad – which set the BAR high!
Budweiser never disappoints. From puppies and Clydesdales, to this year’s powerful commercial which sent a message about the American dream, Budweiser knows all the ingredients to create an unforgettable Super Bowl ad. In short, we have no reason to think that the 2018 Budweiser Super Bowl ad will be any less than outstanding.

Audi is quickly establishing itself as one of the legendary brands when it comes to Super Bowl commercials. The 2017 Super Bowl ad, called #DriveProgress, sent a strong and powerful message about women’s rights to equal pay for equal work. This was a strong performance (one of the best Super Bowl LI ads!) that even managed to top their fantastic Super Bowl 50 commercial which played tribute to David Bowie.
We’ve got both Audi commercials for you right here:

Like Doritos, BMW sat out of Super Bowl LI. We hoped it was a fake out and that they would surprise us with a fantastic BMW Super Bowl ad but, alas, it was not in the cards. That’s why we are as anxious as ever to see what BMW comes up with for Super Bowl LII. Last year, BMW used their 30-seconds of airtime to highlight their Mini. But it was BMW’s 2015 commercial which we will never forget. Starring Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel, it was creative, hilarious and unforgettable. We’d love to see something of this caliber in 2018!

Hyundai has aired 9 Super Bowl commercials in 10 years and most of them have been fantastic! From “First Date,” their hilarious 2016 Hyundai Super Bowl spot (scroll to watch) to this year’s creative and emotional ad which was shot live during the Game from an overseas military base, you can count on Hyundai to create a commercial that will be memorable and compelling. Part of their secret to success is that Hyundai hires fantastic directors to make their Super Bowl commercials. In recent years, they’ve worked with Peter Berg, Fredrik Bond and Aaron Stoller.

Doritos skipped out on Super Bowl LI which, in our minds, can only mean one thing: They are planning something special for the 2018 Super Bowl Doritos ad! For ten years, the famous chip-makers ran the “Crash the Super Bowl contest” where they asked fans to make the Doritos Super Bowl commercial and compete for a chance to win $1 million! In Super Bowl 50, Doritos choose two lucky winners, “Doritos Dogs” and “Ultrasound.” We loved them both!
Will they revive the contest in 2018? Or will Doritos come back with a whole new approach for Super Bowl LII? Ponder that as you take another gander at last year’s winners:

8. Mr. Clean
He may be a rookie in the Super Bowl, but he’s no rookie in the sac! The surprisingly sexy Mr. Clean made an unforgettable Super Bowl commercial that every housewife in America is still talking about. The 2017 Mr. Clean Super Bowl commercial starred a cartoon and a mop and served as a reminded to guys everywhere that cleaning can be quite a turn on! It left us, well, panting for more!
We can’t wait to see if Mr. Clean will be back in Super Bowl LII. Maybe he’ll go a step further and take off the shirt next year?
